Starting from Ganga Sagar in West Bengal and finishing at Gangotri in Uttarakhand – ‘Moving Upstream: Ganga’ was filmed over 6 months on a 3000km walk along River Ganga.

Part of Veditum India Foundation’s Moving Upstream project, the walk took place between June 2016 and April 2017. The film is an attempt to document the rivers of India, bringing a first person narrative as well as large scale data archives on the river’s condition and life of the people of the basin for public access
