Process

The illustrations are made from discarded trash. Ink impressions of different non-recyclable items were scanned and composed digitally.

The technique is based on nature printing – a kind of printing and recording process developed in the 18th century that uses the plants, animals, rocks and other natural subjects to produce an image.
